Atika Al Abbas
Managing and Creative Director, Atika Al Abbas founded Atika Al Abbas in 2015.
Since the beginning of her journey, the Dubai-based fashion designer has kept her commitment to offering an exclusive experience to clients looking for a luxurious, precise alternative in evening and occasion wear in favor of custom-fit creations handcrafted to the highest standards of dressmaking—an intimate collaboration between the designer and the wearer.
By blending old-world artisan techniques with modern-day aesthetics, Atika set out to create timeless modest garments built with the beauty of ceremony at heart.
Today, her vision has materialized in traditional Emirati archives energized by intricate luxury detailing and intensified silhouettes, encompassing Atika Al Abbas' holistic vision of heritage and personal style. Her candid love for fashion, her couture knowledge of textiles and embroideries, and her penchant for exuberant elegance can be seen (and felt) in the distinctive richness of her designs.
Atika’s ready-to-wear and made-to-order collections highlight the mastery behind the tailoring of feminine silhouettes, centered around a reimagined legacy of cultural pleasure.
In 2021, Atika was named “Young Designer of The Year'' in the 12th Annual Arab Woman Awards, hosted by ITP media group in partnership with UN Women and Harper's Bazaar Arabia.
